Jack: Why don't we just grab a tree in the Christmas tree lot already cut? Gary: Son, a lot of fuel was used to transport those trees here. It is "green" to acquire our trees locally. Jack: And how does this get that fuel back?
Kid’s got a point. If everybody who wants a real tree drives great distances and uses his/her chainsaw, I don’t see how that’s greener than a relative handful of big trucks, each carrying many trees.
