Okay, that’s some logic I can get behind!

Yeah, I doubt maps will be of any us with how things have… Changed, as of recent. What I want to know though is whether or not they actually recognize those place names, they might, but I can’t say for certain.

I believe it, I know it’s not a job for the faint of heart.

Yeah, I’ve been wondering that as well. I don’t think it’s the case, seeing as we didn’t actually see anybody, but it’s a possibility. Would be quite interesting if that winds up being the case.

I did some research, it appears that for battery operated emergency lights, at least as we know them in the modern day sense, they started becoming available somewhere around the mid to late 60’s, though I haven’t been able to fully confirm that. It doesn’t appear that they were particularly common until at least the 70’s. There are some older examples, but those appear to be closer related to portable high-power flashlights rather then wall mounted power-outage backups.

I was referring more to the “battery powered emergency lights” part, but it never hurts to learn some more about the light bulb.

Would that have been around at the time though? As clearly this is a 1950’s era ocean-liner. I mean, it could be the case, especially as it’s definitely not the 50’s as we know it, still, I feel like they’re more likely just running lights. Just my thoughts though.

I’d question the structural integrity of some of those buildings. And is it just me, or does the ship still have lights on? Curious.
