Actually, they all posted yesterday. And am I glad! Read my comment yesterday. I’ve probably cut out at least a couple hundred of them out of the paper over the years to put them on a 4 ft x 6 ft cork board I used for many years to put my favorite comics (these and others) on for awhile. I’ve had people come by to visit and spend 15-20 minutes reading the board looking for their favorites and the new ones I’d put on since their last visit. A lot of good memories of friends, many now gone, but I still remember them laughing!
I wish you all the best with the procedures. I hope you get back to at least being able to strum a little. I can’t pick worth a lick but listening to John Prine lowers my blood pressure and anxiety levels significantly. As my late buddy always said. “Makes my feel bad feel better!”
I can’t swing a shotgun to shoot clay birds anymore because of my left shoulder and twice broke back and I miss doing it! The things we have to let go of due to age and physical limitations can be a hard pill to swallow. That’s when you have to look around at others and presto! You feel better. BUT than I feel bad for them.
I saw it many years ago too.
Don’t remember much of it, can’t imagine why…
I keep watching for an email to tell me how your wife is doing.
Keep Mom in your prayers, had to take her to Urgent care Thursday.
She’s been sneezing and coughing for 7 or 8 weeks now. Gets a little better, then gets worse than before.
I’ve been TRYING to to get her to let me call her Doctor, but nooo…
She’s not stubborn and will argue all day long she’s not!
So now she’s got Bronchitis pretty bad. They gave her Antibiotics and the little cough pills that look like a little Vitamin E pill.
She’s coughing really hard till she gags and gets light headed.
NOT what a 91 year old woman with A-fib needs.
Hope you and yours are doing well.
Always in my prayers. Mike.
