I am a fan of the Air Races in Reno Nevada; particularly the Unlimited Class. My favorites are the modified F8F Bearcat "Rare Bear" and the modified P-51 Mustang "Strega" from which I took my user name.

I listen to tRump and it scares me. If you are really listening to him, how can you not be scared?

No, I don’t trust tRump with the nukes (or social security, health care, border security, or anything else).

California mandates for a percentage of vehicles to be ZEV has been in effect for about 20 years now. It’s thanks to the CARB ZEV mandate that we now have the high capacity batteries and a variety of practical electric vehicles to choose from. The mandates were adjusted as the car companies showed good faith efforts. The original required ZEV contingent was adjusted to count PZEVs. Make progress and they’ll meet you part way.

Joe Biden is doing an excellent job as president. Cognitive decline with age is, to some extent unavoidable; but starting at a very high level, and declining slower than most, I do believe Joe Biden’s current cognitive abilities are well above average for any age.

And I certainly hope you aren’t implying that tRump has even average cognitive ability. Even for a man over 80, tRumps inability to stay on subject, or even finish a sentence is below average.

Those “real videos” were from random unrelated occasions, edited together and presented as occurring at a more potentially embarrassing time. Fake is fake no mater how you produce it.

Here ya go: cat on lap, cat get up; nap in warm spot; 2am zoomies; fur everywhere; snub. Repeat ad nauseum.

It is not the mandate being preached by the Republican candidates. It requires a portion of vehicles manufactured to be EVs, it doesn’t ban gasoline powered vehicles as the Republicans have implied. It is a long term plan and history shows that the EPA (and CARB) have been flexible at amending regulation targets that are not attainable. Progress is made by pushing, not by waiting for something to happen. The progress sought by this rule is more infrastructure and lower price EVs. These breakthroughs will only come by forcing the auto companies out of their comfort zone.

I have 35 years working for auto companies on emission critical components. I have 35 years of meeting with EPA and CARB engineers.
