My favorite finn photo

maureenmck Premium

Need my daily fix of "Agnes," "The Barn," and "Scary Gary" with my morning coffee & meds. Also hooked on "The Dogs of C-Kennel," "Non Sequitur," and at least a couple of dozen others. The photo at top is of my Malti-Poo, Finnegan .... At 72 years of age, I haven't been willingly photographed in 20 years.

I am remembering back 60 years now, but I think the rule at our elementary school was that you had to either give everyone in the class a card, or you couldn’t give out any. For a few years, my parents made pink heart-shaped sugar cookies for the entire class — my class and my sister’s. Mom did the baking, and Dad printed each child’s name on his or her cookie, using red food coloring and a toothpick.
